I planted 3 autoflower seeds today (1 Poison Dwarf and 2 Diesel Ryders) in my first 100% organic soil.

My last and first harvest was entirely chemical, and the bud tasted BITTER and harsh. I want good tasting stuff this time around!!

My soil is:

1 pt Peat
1 pt Humus
1 pt Chicken Manure
2 pts little neutral white stones I use to aerate

My question is: is this soil ok? I did not use "regular earth", only juicy dark stuff: Peat, humus and chicken poop.

Oh, and I like to use Molasses when watering, begining in the 2nd or 3rd week with autoflowers..... I hope all goes well.

it sounds ok to me, id just add something a little more "soil" as everything besides the chicken poop constitutes a soil less mix

I grow only tomatoes and for my personal use. Any inference otherwise from my posts is completely false.

Humus is leaf mold (compost right) right?

"neutral white stones" aren't a replacement for pearlite IMHO

And it seems a little hot, but if all the ingredients are composted and limed for PH balance it should be fine.

Maybe ass some green sand for extra potassium?

Green, yes, the stuff I buy as humus is leaf mold compost.

I only used materials I had in hand, I cannot find perlite here where I live, only vermiculite and those small rocks.

if you live in the USA perlite is available at Lowes in the garden section in a 3 cu ft bag for around 25 dollars.

yes you need some perlite def..alot of perlite.. vermiculite helps hold water but so does the peat..

that is going to burn the fuck outta yr seedings! That's going to be pretty acid too. Spring for perlite and i'd cut the manure in half.

So far sucess with this mix, with a 3 week old seedling. It is growing slow, dont know if it is the strain or the lack of aeration in the soil, but plant is def healthy and thriving. Will love to smoke organic stuff and make some auto seeds (I hope to get 1 male and 2 females from my 3 organic autos )
