I Just found out about this new fungicide solution & thought it would be cool to share it with all of you.

Most people would use Baking soda, soap, &/or oil in there solution but here is an alternative to that.

MILK! yea milk is what you can try using to control your problem.

1st you will prepare a milk solution & spraying schedule. ( this will depend on the situation of your problem also some trial & error)

Solution range is... 1 part milk to 9 parts water. A strong solution is MILK- ONLY
( A 1:1 solution will need to be spayed on plants every week, while a 1:9 ratio needs to be sprayed every 3/4 days.)

Skim milk works better then whole, higher fat may clog a sprayer. Even reconstituted powdered milk works!

Yes... milk does work.....

Potassium Bicarbonate (used in wine making) also works well. The stuff is pretty cheap, available at any brew store and online brew stores, even ebay.

Mix the Potassium Bicarbonate with your unchlorinated water until you achieve a pH of 9. Then lightly mist your plants, that have issues, either early in the morning or late in the evening when temps are low.

The alkaline pH will kill most mold, fungus, and powdery mildew...etc.... plus there is an added bonus. The Potassium (aka - the K, in NPK ferts) provides nutrients for your plants also.

Just apply twice a week (max) until leaves are wet, with some slight run off. Over application, causes the runoff to drive soil pH up slightly. Keep this in mind, and check soil pH when using this cheap & effective mix........ it's a KILLER Mix....
