i have some NYCD that have some dark blue on the grow-tips

they are in pro-mix and i have fed only earthworm casts and guano tea

is this normal,,,

oh and they dont all have this! just half of them do

this happened to me too, my medium is also pro mix. i did some researching and from what i've collected the dark blue or purple dots are there beause the soil is too acidic, try making the water you are using more basic, one method is just adding some baking soda to the water. i started doing this a week or 2 ago and mine are starting to get better.
