i would replace the epsom salt and lime with dolomite
dolomite is sometime referred to as lime, though they're no always the same, dolomite is real cheap and readily available
dolomite has plenty of magnesium(and calcium) which is what epsom salts are often included for
and dolomite's effect on ph is excellent, if you use dolomite, you probably won't have a ph problem(using water in the 6-7 range)
i know that epsom salt is pretty popular, and i can't dispute its usefulness as a magnesium source
but one seemingly knowledgeable grower cautioned against it, claims it is often the source of harsh smoking bud

keloggs garden bloome is cheap and organic 3cf for $10 i also use dr earth organic $8 ferts. they work even better than fox farm.
Foxfarm can burn your plants i never had that problem with dr earth aplly every 2 months

i used mg potting and spring water, 18 weeks got me an oz of ak48 and another oz of power skunk. smoke is very chill. grew with cfl's. going to do 16 plants with mh/hps and promix or ff. to start u can go cheap with whatever but then u will want something better

I am just using ordianry peat moss potting soil and plain water for nearly all my grow.. Only nutes i am using is miracle grow. And my grow seems to be going fine. Still aint used miracle grow yet tho i want the plants into at least 2 weeks of veg before i use it as to have no toxic risks i will only use 1/4 strength. If i can get away growing with this you will be fine

I use to worry about the pH I don't think I am any more, If I do I might lower it to 6.5-6.7.

I have a new soil Idea. I think Im going to just use plain potting mix with 25% mushroom compost(cow manure, not sure), and feed it with some back yard compost tea.
I might spray fish emulsion, and other organic feeds I have if needed. I think this work out, it seems simple and simple is better.

just be sure it's a plain potting mix - MG potting soil(for example) is loaded with time release fertilizer
so are many other soils labeled "potting mixes" - these soils can work quite well provided you are aware of how to use them
