Default chem to organic possible?
my babies are 3 months old and i decided to stop with the miracle-gro and finish them off with only organic stuff

its the 28th of june and i plan on harvesting in late october

if i use only organic for the rest of the grow will my plants purge all of the chemicals i initialy put in??

and my plants are growing like crazy,. all 5 footers with multi-tops, but i still dont like the idea that im putting chemicals in them,,

will switching to organic dramaticly reduce the plants vigor???

im planning on using guano tea for the rest of the grow i hear its just as good as MG when brewed properly

can anyone back this up

My two cents, yes you can switch from chems to organic. More than likely your plants have lots of chems already inside of them and that organics will take over, they arenīt as strong low npk but what they do for the soil is unbelieveable and your plants may slow a little in growth but then they will be growing the way nature intended them to grow, your bud will taste better your plant much healthier with fewer problems. Please read Making Tes is Easy and Cheap by Ohsogreen in the organic section, smoke spend a couple of hours taking notes and a whole new world will open up before you. He will explain better than myself, but we both grow about the same way. Enjoy and welcome to the beautiful world of organics.

PlantsinPants.... Yes, you can make the switch. Just give your soil a good flush (plain pH adjusted water - pH of 6), three times the volume of the pot. If in soil, just 5 gallons each. Your highly soluble chem ferts will wash out of the soil quite easily. The chems in plant tissue will work their way out over the course of a few weeks.
.
The day after the flush, mix up a mild (NPK range like 2-1-1 to 4-3-2) higher N fertilizer tea, and give each plant two quarts of it. Follow that up by topdressing one cup of worm casting (or make a worm castings tea - then topdress the leftovers) to provide micro-life to get things going. (The higher N fertilizer tea helps establish the micro-life, then switching to bloom fertilizer teas later works better).
.
These little micro-beasties (good bacteria & fungi) that come out of & along with the worm castings, will greatly improve things in the rootzone.
.
In the meanwhile, read the thread " Making Tea is E-Z & Cheap " in this forum, to pick up info on fertilizer teas and their use.
.
Hope this helps....
