I put up a recent thread on bone meal tea, asked if anyone here has experience with bone meal tea. Few replies, a few opinions, maybe it would work, maybe too slow.
I had a nl#5 about 3 weeks into flower, and the dreaded purple/blue was beginning to show in the fan leaves, phosphorus deficiency! Started with MG Organic Garden soil, and about 1 tbps of bone meal per gallon soil. I was a bit new to organics, and let the plant slip into deficiency.
So brew the tea with a bit of molasses with 1 tsp bone meal per 2 quarts water. Fermented tea about 2 days, and have fed 3 times so far. A bit of wood ash added at end for a ph that was tracking below 6, a little too low.
Results are very good, vigorous growth, vigorous bud. The blue/purple is on the retreat. At this stage of plant development, 32 days of 12/12, plant feeding needs are high. Had to come from the tea, and it came on pretty quick. Pic isn't the best but does show a pretty vigorous plant. Only using 78 watts of cfl so it's not a monster, but big enough for me!
