Question foxfarms&soilless mix

Whats up RIU, a soilless mix came to me and I have no idea how to start seeds in it.
Is foxfarms week one on the schedule ment to be week three or four in the plants life, or should I start watering it with ferts before I plant the seed.

What should the pH be? FF says to between 6.3 and 6.8, but other soilless grower recomend 5.9 and lower.

The Main point RIU is I have no clue on the soilless.

What about this soilless mix

12 quarts of jiffy puff seed starter
1.5 quarts of wormcastings
1 to 2 cups of gin trash

Well, give me your soilless mixes. No promix folks I just want stuff I can buy at walmart, lowes, homedepot, etc.
Where I live we don't have high dollar nuseries, and no hydroponic stores at all.

ive been using and almost swear by
3-4 parts sphagnum peat moss
1 par vermiculite
1-2 parts pearlite
your mileage may vary but Hoffman brand is good quality stuff if you can find it

thanks for replying. Do you mix worm castings in it? Do you use organic ferts?

no i dont mix anything else in it cause after i sprout them i put them in pots with this and you dont realy wanna put ANY nutes in them till about 3-4 week mark but i guess you could mix up a batch of this with castings and guano kelp etc when you transfer them to larger pots

anyways I think I put to much nitrogen, I'll see when the come up. My plan was to put the right amount of nitrogen then in a week or three start the foxfarms feeding schedule.

you really shouldn't add anything to your medium nute wise except maybe some hygrozyme or something like that all they really need is air light and water the first few weeks
