I know this topic is well trodden, but I've seen a lot of contrary opinions on a number grow sites. Some seem to be using alfalfa tea(soil not foliar) well into flower with no negative consequences. Others claim bad things happen if you do. At the risk of my minimal reputation, I'll submit it for a group opinion.

I use alfalfa in my soil mix. Blue Mountain Organics uses alfalfa in their foliar spray, veg and flowering nutes. I use these, and they are highly recommended on this forum.

that is exactly what i see too, seems there's a bit of conflicting info
maybe the tea is too much alfalfa, but there are contradictory opinions on this too
the "mainstream" opinion on riu seems to be stop by 2 weeks of flower

I thought alfalfa = N , so whenever ya need N you can use alfalfa...in a tea or whatever, wherever.

the part supposedly might affect flower is that plant hormone alfalfa contains, tricanterol, or something like that
i'm about a week into 12/12, haven't fed a bit, just bone meal and dolomite mixed into the soil
thinking a little bit ahead if feeding looks needed
that, and i've got a 50 lb sack of alfalfa pellets, +rep for the thought, hoping i haven't used it up

Oh yeah. I forgot that BMO uses it in all of their nutes. I guess I do use it after all! haha
