Question Humus from a composting toilet?

Hey!

My school has composting toilets, has anyone used humus from these for fert? Sounds like a good idea to me...

I've never used "humus" from composting toliets, but I have seen the composted humanure from a compost toliet used before. Before using it, you need to make sure that it is broken down (composted) completely so any pathogens and bad bactira from the humanure are decomposed. This is espically true if you (or the people using the toliets) are an omnivore, because animals/meat carry many diseases that will go through your body. If you are vegan, then the compost can be used sooner, because it will break down much faster.
