I've looked in a lot of the big-box stores [i.e. Home De Pot] and a couple local nurseries, and none of them apparently have ever even heard of worm castings. I've tried about 5 different places and I don't want to waste anymore gas and effort for a lost cause. I also don't want to order any soils online, i've had my identity stolen one too many times from hyrdo sites.
What major stores carry worm castings, or are they under a different name in the non-cannabis world?

I order from hydro stores all the time and never have had my identity stolen. And you are saying that you have had it done multiple through ordering from hydro stores? Where did you order from? iamasucker.com?

Lowe's and Wal-Mart both have organic bone meal and blood meal. That will work well mixed in with your soil. I have some of each and use it on my vegetable garden, stuff works great. I would recommend getting those two if you can't find worm castings. Good luck with whatever you do

When I was digging holes for my guerrilla grow I noticed the dirt was full of red worms
![]() They were eating the stalks of my leftover plants from last season too.

I don't think wally world is carrying them this year..try calling the local garden centers or nurseries you have in your area..if you have 2 wally worlds in the area there must be a few private garden centers as well. I got lucky and found some at a local garden center, which is in NO way a hydro store.
last resort could be to get a hold of a local worm supplier for fishing...and see if they have any castings they'll sell you...but i dunno if you'd feel comfortable doing all that if yer not comfortable ordering online and they're not referred to under another name that I know of...just EWC for short..but that's mostly internet stuff imo. |
