Default Want to become a organic grower :)Help +rep
Hey everyone at RIU

I've been researching and researching about marijuana for some time now.

Thanks to everyone on this website I've gained ALOT of knowledge about this great plant. Thank you everyone who is on this website who help us all start growing and become the best growers.

I've also learned about the chemical fertilizers and how it's not "natural".I've read a bit about organics and love the idea of trying to give the plant all-natural fertilizers for the best quality buds!
I want to become a organic grower but am a total newbie to organics!

1. What are the organic fertilizers that marijuana uses?
So far I know about, bat guano, bunny turd, bone meal, blood meal. What else?

2.What are these organic compounds good for? (Like blood meal would be for Nitrogen)

3. What should be the plants ideal diet composed of?

4.When do you begin feeding and how often do you feed with organic fertilizers?

5. How do you "mix" the fertilizer and how do you water?

Any other information to start growing with organics to the end would be great! Thanks everyone

Cheers

Rabbit manure 2.4-1.4-.6
Cow manure (dairy) .6-.2-.5 Both cow manures (3) cups per gallon.
Steer manure (beef) .7-.3-.4
Chicken manure 1.1-.8-.5
Horse manure .7-.3-.6
Duck manure .6-1.4-.5
Sheep manure .7-.3-.9
Worm castings 1.0-.0-.0 (4) tablespoons per gallon

Worm Castings is another amazing organic fertilizer- they contribute nitrogen but also a lot trace elements as well as beneficial bacteria, that help to break down the nutrients more. To turn your raw materials into a good fertilizer i would suggest making a "tea". Get a large container and an aquarium air stone then fill with unchlorinated water and mix appropriate amounts the materials you wish to use and let that bubble for a day or so. you can also add molasses that does not contain preservatives- it feeds the beneficial microbes.

I usually of course start off with water then water and molasses then water and nutes. I water with molasses say on monday then on say thurs or friday when they are thirsty again Ill feed with nutes then another 3 or 4 days I will water and molasses again. All Organic. Keep in mind that every strain eats diff amounts. Indica will eat alot more than a Sativa then Hybrids I guess are whatever. I keep the same regimen through the whole life cycle except maybe feed and water with closer incriments thats about it. I also use Roots Organics whole line of nutes including my molasses.

Water schedule depends on the medium u grow in.
I use Botanicare nutes, they are organic. Try a simple organic mix and then start adding more goodies.

I started my 1st indoor hydro gro with just CNS 17 grow and bloom with some tea from the hydro store.

Now I'm adding, liquid karma, silica blast, humega(SP), ripe.

Keep it simple stoner while learning what your set-up, plant strain, etc.

GOOD LUCK
