i need to use a fast acting P organic fert for my flowering plant? the only access i have to a high p low N fert is bone meal.
i heard some where that bone meal takes long to become absorbable by the plant... true or false? will it be faster acting if i make a bone meal tea? |

Bacteria in the soil need to break it down in order for it to become readily soluble. It's starts within a week or so with strong soil, and typically lasts several weeks or months, depending on the amount. It's slow-release. If your soil is sterile it may do little or nothing. Grinding it up(if not already) should speed up conversion to plant-soluble nutrients.
