So I just finished putting together a little organic potting mix of my own just kinda throwing together ingredients I've bought and seen on here. I made it 60% organic potting soil, 20% perlite, 10% peat moss, 10% manure. I also added about a half tablespoon of blood and bone meal to the mix. How does this sound to all you pro's out there...should i change proportions...anything else important I should add? Thanks

I personally use a mix of 30% worm castings (walmart), 30% vermiculite, 20% perlite, 20% peat moss. And for shits and giggles i throw in an ounce of dolemite lime powder.... Then I fertilize with Blue Mountain Organics, according to reccomendation. (ebay only for their product) very cheap in price but their quality is astounding!!!! check out the organic threads on here and their ebay store. good luck!!!
