In this months issue of high time. In the q&a sectoin gorge seems to say.that if you have an air conditioner it will refresh the air .and if you have a humidity control and co2 you can go without.an intake and exhaust. A closed enviroment. Anyone tryed this or herd of it.

It's called CGE (closed growing environment. I am doing it now and highly recomend it. check out my journal HERE

I have, I did it like that for a few years and it worked well for me.

My heat pumps ran often enough to circulate air and at the time I only ran two 250 watt lights at a time so there was not enough heat to worry about, nothing more than average temperatures in the winter and in the summer and A/C handled it.

It is not for everyone but if you have the right conditions you can do it and it will work. If you do not have the right conditions it is a recipe for disaster.

I grew in the attic of our apartment for a couple years with no exhaust/intake. Just a small room with an A/C in the window. It worked great for what I wanted, but we decided not to grow up there anymore, and we invested in a DarkRoom.

you can grow in a sealed environment. i have seen huge grows doing it. check "urban growers" vids on youtube. somewhere in there he visits a huge one. i think this is pretty advanced though.
