Cool organic hydro.
i dont recall where but i remember reading this shit where this guy claimed to grow herb in an organic/ hydro setup. the way he did it was he/she grew the plant in a organic mediam a few inches thick where all the nutrients were held and the upper roots could absorb nutes. he/ she divided it with i think it was rockwool and then let the lower root absorb water somehow. i dont know the exact specifics.

i want to try it out. im all about organic but have heard that hydro setups grow plants faster.

has any body heard of this or a similar method. will it work? my main concern is root rott.

I'd recommend the pureblend pro for hydro-organic. I've never personally used it, but some of my comrades have with good results.

yes the pro blends from botanicare are very good. I use the hydro bloom then switch to the pro soil in the last few weeks or so. always had great results.

I think botanicare pbp is a great product. However if you dont mind spending the money I would highly reccommend Advanced Nutrients Iguana Juice Grow and bloom. Also some of the best additives for bloom are Nirvana, Sweetleaf and Sensizym.
Sweetleaf and Nirvana sort ofact like 2 products in one. By having IG, SL, and Nirvana you make it less neccesary to buy the other items on the chart like the b-vitamins as well as big bud because they proovide all amino acids, and sugars as well a all b vitamins. Nirvana also reduces the need for humic and fulvic acids which are both excellent natural chelators.
And lastly, sensizym is awesome, It makes hygrozyme look like water. Basically it has tons of enzymes that decompose dead root mass to turn it into easy to access food for the plant, as well as other organic materials to make them more available to the plant. If you use this stuff your plants will Explode. Also this mix has worked well for me in the past and doesn't seem to cause blockage in my Ebb and flow or any settling in the res. It costs as much for both grow and bloom from Botanicare as it does for one liter bottle of IG but to me it is well worth it.
