Default Organic Nutrient Fixes and Unique Ideas
Hi guys. Ive been a fan of this forum for a while now but have never posted. Im just starting a new medium scale totally organic grow and will be posting pics for criticism and comment as soon asi can. In the meantime i thought i'd start out with some organic tricks ive learned recently...

Many people love chamomiile tea, i do and so do cannabis plants. Chamomile has long been known to boost the essential oil production of many plants such as basil and lavender (i met a man in a bar who said he worked on a commercial lavender farm in california and he told me this). Growing chamomile along with your herbals can deter some species of bugs. Misting your babies with a chamomile tea (cooled of course) is quite beneficial.

I like to combine the above trick with another oldorganic trick: molasses. Get yourself a cup of blackstrap sulfured molasses and mix it into a gallon of hot fairly strong chamomile tea. Stir well and wait for this to cool to room temp and mist on plants or dilute to half strength and use as you would normal water. I do this 4 times a month omitting the molasses two of those times....

Instead of using chemical bugsprays try 1/2 cup of ethyl alcohol in 1/2 gallon of water. Test this one first on a small section of your garden. Mist on plants to kill spider mites, spiders, aphids, and many others....

Another unique idea i had was that after hearing that plants need gelatin in small amounts and some nursaries use Jello to provide that at a ratio of
1tsp per gallon. what if you matched the flavor of this jello to the flavors of your strain? i will be experimenting with this one...
Last trick is a good ole watering with perrier if youre not already using co2. Even if you are the minerals are good sources of micro nutes...

Thanks for reading this long ass post.... hope this helps someone.

Thanks for your ideas my friend!

Using organics is the only way too go as far as producing the smoothest and strongest smoke.

I am flowering about 20 right now and all I have done is build up the soil, " the old fashion way. "

I started out with a good organic soil and worm castings and a little Guano and then just started adding worms and feeding them vegetable and fruit scraps in the soil.

I have only used " dilluted urine, molasses, raw organic honey, blended clover for extra nitrogen only once and Perrier Co2 water for spraying regularly. "

The smoke that is produced is unreal.

When a Molasses container identifies the product as "sulphured" or "unsulfured" the terms are used merely to advise which Molasses were refined using sulphur dioxide. Sulfured Molasses are made from young sugar cane, which requires sulfur dioxide during the sugar refining process. As the sulfur becomes mixed into the Molasses solution, a change in flavor occurs, reducing some of rich taste generally provided by Molasses not processed with sulfur dioxide. Unsulfured Molasses are made with more mature raw materials and the juice is clarified as it is processed, producing a higher quality, thicker, sweeter, and better tasting grade of Molasses. Unsulfered Molasses are typically preferred for recipes in order to provide a more pure flavor.

Don't use sulfured molasses with your grows. Only use UNsulfured. Just like thenatural said, it makes it more complex and rich, and plus has more trace elements like calcium and magnessium to feed those precious microbeasties in your soil. If they are happy than your plant is happy! The roots are the brain of the plant, so feed it well (like your own) and it will thrive! Feed it processed chem food (like your own.. McDonalds anyone?) and it will be sluggish and not thrive.

the other reason sulfured vs unsulfured as Elaine Ingram said is the sulphur kills microbes. also black strap mollasses is the best kind to use since has lower sugar content and more minerals nutrients and vitamins
