50% coco coir
20% humus and manure compost (npk= .5%-.5%-.5)
20% perlite
10% worm castings

I have a very small cabinet with only a 150w HPS.

I also have a small tub I made with cfls for a mother and clones.

Since I'm not going be vegging for long I wasn't going to use any nutrients during the two week veg phase.

But for flowering I was going to use budswel.

I'm new to organics. So new I havent even done it yet ha. So please someone let me know.

Check out Subcools super soil, and compare. I like what you have except the coco coir. But you may do well.

I've seen subcools recipe here and in high times. I can't afford all of the stuff plus shipping so I was going to try to make my own cheaper soilless mix. Oh well I guess no one has an opinion, shouldn't have wasted my time making this thread.

try it out! it looks decent to me. if you have deficiency probs use liquid nutes, then next time change the recipe a little. chances are, your first proprietary mix will need some adjusting, so so just mess with it until you find something that works for you with what you have available to you.

I haven't started a journal yet because I've got like 5 plants just now a couple days into flower but they are in that shitty organic potting soil from walmart. I've got 3 clones waiting to root. When I get one of them big enough to be a mother I should hopefully have a good mix ready and will start a journal then...til then I'm growin in the bullshit cheap shit haha...and i'll be researching on making a better mix.

get mg organic,and mix it 50-50with perlite,that mix makes for big blooms. just remove any twigs that are in the mix. you could try siftin the soil before you mix it with perlite.

you should atleast make a flowering thread,flowering is the most exciting part

are you using the mg organic potting soil? I will definitley make a journal as soon as some exciting shit goes down in my grow haha. But I just got a new place was livin with my mom so i could grow there. As soon as I get here I popped some beans and threw them in the cheapest soil i could find. Now that i'm settled in I'm gonna get a great organic mix together. I live in a small town and all the bud around is that i can find anyways, is schwag full of seeds. No kind bud around here. So if I could get some nice organic sensi these fuckin dumbass rednecks would shit theirselves lol

bob,I'd use less castings as they can glug your mix,topdress with them later remembering to incorporate it into the top layer of soil,you won't get a skim on top this way.

I got some eco earth coco from a pet store today, the three pack.

I also bought a bag of humus and manure (.5-.-.5-.5)
a bag of perlite
a bag of garden compost

so i already mixed some of it

humus (5 parts)
compost (20 parts)
and perlite (about 10 parts)

I'm going to use the rest of the percentages of coco when I actually need to use them.

I went with coco because I wanted something that would drain really well.

I'm also brewing a tea with manure and mollasses.

I'm looking to the stuff to make a bloom tea...so I may get budswell (0-7-0) or super swell (also 0-7-0).

Hopefully this will be good we will see.

I'm growing all organically to help medicate my g/f and my mother both suffer from what seems to be unending problems.
