I have a 750watt -1000watt HPS light with the ballast. It doesnt say anywhere on the bulb how many watts it is does anyone know how i can dind out? How far should the light be above my plant? I have some nutrients and soil and i dont know how much of what to use and when to use it. Here is the stuff i have.

>Organic Potting Mix

Do i add a little bit of everything into my pot?, the pot i am using is around a 10 gal pot.

How do i lower my ph level 1.0?

Can i put Flourescent lights around the plant with the HPS light?

that's a whole-lotta shit man. it seems if you add all of these:
Grotek-Monster Bloom- 00-50-30
Schultz-Plant Food 20-30-20
Peters-All Purpose Plant Food 20-20-20

it'll be like a nuclear device went of in your soil. it's too hot.
i've used the schultz 10-15-10 at 1/4 strength. After maybe 2 or 3 feedings it was burning up my leaves.
My advice is to ditch the chemical nutes and get some Mexican bat guano (good for veg) and some indonesian guano (flower). obviously you can mix these 2 things up and their NPK numbers are alot lower.
