Whats better???

I am going to be using manure as an additive to my soil but i heard that pig poo is better than cow poo..... i work on a ranch so i have all the poo access i want... what do you guys think?

you should look up how much nitrogen is in each.... i hope you dont plan on being anywhere near those plants..

lol ya i used cow manure last year the smell wasnt bad it blended in with the dirt smell more than anything and the great ganja smell masked everything.... and the nitrogen idea is great im definitly going to look it up right now! thanks

I agree, you should try to establish how much nitrogen you are working with. Perhaps research both animals diets. I might also blend it with some other kind of complimentary compost and let it break down a little before i use it. If you could sterilize it some way too that would be awesome. I cant think of a way off the top of my head but im sure it could be done somehow.

i cant find anything about how much nitrogen is in each or what is better all i find is that manure is great stuff period no matter what its from... just some manure takes longer to decompose compared to others... some are hotter/colder... like poultry manure is hotter so you use less compared to cow manure or pig manure which you use more because its cooler and it composts quicker... idk i think im just going to try both and see which ones grow better!!! A NEW EXPERIMENT!!

and that dog and cat poo shouldnt be used because they can contain disease

i used bat shit like that for P and that shit smelled awful when it was wet... not so much after it dried, but everytime i watered it after that it was overwhelming... i only like to flower with plants flowering two weeks in between to keep the smell down so there's no bud, but sometime a earthy planty smell with some nasty moist with it lol

thanks yes i will keep everyone posted on this one i am going to be preparing my ground next weekend! i found this video its how FDD did his shit! im not going to be doing it the exact same way with exact ferts... but the way he rototilled the ground and added stuff to it is the way im going to be preparing and then digging my holes and putting fish emulsion down in them as well! im shootn for some MONSTERS!!!
