people are talking about using sugar cane or molasses.

how would i go about adding molasses to my plants' home to induce growth?

boil the kettle and add spoon full of molasses to a cup add HOT water and stir, I only add enough water to melt the molasses theres no need for a full glass.!!!

I found its easy to make it up as you go along or else it seems to form a scum on top of the water, if left to stand over a number of days

Go to FAQ and click on DIY & save. There you will find 2 articles on molasses.

Hey again mogie, I read the articles that you talked about and, it doesn't say how much molasses to use.

Thats funny...^ As most of what you read from mogie no offence here... has been copyed from somewhere else and pasted on here with out ever trying it out.!!

While its all good info you cant just take there word for it, look at the guys that tried molasses in there hydro and almost lost there whole grow because of it.

Yeah but those guys were morons, it's common sense not to use it where there are moving parts, adding a gunky substance to something like that is just dumb. And I trust what mogie says because she has been shown to be very knowledgeable and has helped me in the past with threads I have made, and she's been right EVERY time.

I grow in soil and my advice has been strictly for soil growers. If you look at what I put in FAQ it mentions that manufacturers are making a killing off products that are basically just molasses. They repackage and sell it under fancy names like carbo this and load that.

These products are for soil growers.

Yes someone else did give some info out that implied it could be used for just about anything. Where did they get the info? I don't know. They aren't sharing any more nuggets of wisdom with us.

So whos to say then that one day you take advice from her and it turns out to be totaly wrong for what you needed

I wouldnt say them guys that used it in there hydro where dumb, they just took what they read as being the truth, and believing that the person giving the advice had experience with that subject, and didnt do any extra research to find out if what they where saying was right or not

Im not saying dont take advice but dont belive everything you read.
