Well, you can go to your local farmers co-op, they sell black strap by the gallon, and it's some really good stuff. Health food stores usually have a few different kinds of organic molasses. Or if that fails, you could go to your local grocery store and pick up a jar of Grandma's original unsulphured molasses. That stuff works pretty good too. But what ever you get make sure that it is unsulphured.

You might also want to try Sucanat, it stands for Sugar cane natural. It is basically pure dried sugar cane syrup. I've never used it, but people report excellent results.
