Depending on whats in your soil mix, it could or could not be a good idea. If you have a Super Soil mix, like subcools, which is packed with a shit load of nutrients, then I would say no. But if using a soil that doesn't have any nutrients, or very trace amounts of, then it is okay.

that sounds good to me. the general rule as I know it is to not feed anything but water until the third node is on.

I have started in rapid rooters. I planted those in a mix of half and half ocena forest and lightwarrior with a bag of perlite and dolomite. They are good. I also have started them in rite aid soil, which is organic. No problems. I have fed even a heavy tea before the third node on some girls and no burn. Go figure!

i have also started in miracle grow with nutes and scotts with nutes. They both grew but like in hydro the cotrlydons did not do so well nor did the plant grow so healthy or full. Then again that was bagseed and this time the bagseed is havign a tough time with itslef as a healthy plant. It is ugly compared to the more expensive girls, heavy indica, and yet still is healthier than miracle grow.

except for about half of those plants I just placed dir in soil.
