i'm the guy i've always wanted to be

its hit or miss with all the cheaper soils even something 10-15 bucks might change batch to batch. thats one of the mail reasons that ff and other companies can charge so much ! they make their soil/less mixes from the best of quality controled ingredients most of the cheaper soils are farmed local and go through a quick quality check with a screen and a powerful magnet but crap that cant or wont get stopped by the shaker stays in the soil.(i ran a shaker for a whole summer straight,sucked) so good thread fdd i hope this adds a lil insight to the mix!


and at the risk of death i would suggest a start with miracle grow sand and perlite keep it cheap and simple that way but alot of people have had probs with mg (prob nute burn from lil nute pellets)

or get a small bag of ff and grow one plant in that and one in cheap stuff!!
