How long can you make an organic tea?

Lets say I want to make a wicked strong organic tea. Could I put worm castings and bird poo together and leave it soaked for 3 months before use? I wouldn't bubble it but occasionally shake it up. Would this be o.k.?

LMFAO@dunecat! Not that Im an expert @ making compost teas, but there is something called concentration gradient, meaning whatever you put in that water (i.e. guano etc.) will eventually equalize between itself and the water, making it the all the same strength. I guess that may only take a few days a week or whatever, but if you wanted it super strong, just add more guano, check it with a tds meter or EC and when it stops climbing UP, its as potent as it is going to get, until you either add more fresh water, or more fertilizer. Thanks XOCHIPILI! The only thing I'm worried about if I leave this concoction to sit so long is bad bacteria. Otherwise, I would do this with bird doody and worm castings...

Maybe some pro can chime in.....

why would u want to bottle organic tea for 3 months? its much wiser to prepare your soil 3 months in advance.

Without regular aeration it has the potential to become anaerobic which will kill the beneficial bacteria you're trying to produce.

The best teas are fresh teas.
