The problem about Lemon's or Vinegar is, does it change any of the other nutrient loads(Mag., calcium, iron, ext....)
I would hate to use one of those and have a whole new set of problems. I will definately look into it though, it's worth a look! Actually, here were I live. I have high PH levels, I use almost double the dose of PH down just to get it below 7. Thanx |

Those are not an issue with the juice or vinegar mentioned. What is an issue is pH lockout of nutrients and pH bounce. If you're having a problem keeping your pH down sufficiently, then I highly suggest getting an inexpensive aquarium filter, I happen to dig canister filters because they're somewhat pressurized and can move a lot of water through the medium, and pack it with peat moss. Filter through that til the pH drops and stays down. O2/CO2 content also affect pH readings, more or less depending on the accuracy of your test or meter.
If you don't want to drop the $$$ for a canister filter, then get an air pump and airstone (diffuser) and bubble it for a few days. The water will circulate sufficiently for the peat to bind with a lot of the mineral content that's making your water shift to a higher pH. |

Thanx PICASSO345.
I will look into their website for sure! I don't have any problems with Ph - I am currently around the mid too high 6's. Again, I was looking for an organic ph adjuster. Not a remedy for high PH problems. Merry Christmas!!! |
