Question Organic Blueberry Bud
I am wanting to grow organically. I am wondering if I need to add nutrients or anything else. Or can i just leave the plant in regular potting soil and water it on occasions. Can i pour coffee grounds on top the soil?

Basically I am wondering if i can leave my Plant "AS IS" without doing anything but adding water when needed.

Coffee grounds are too hot to put on the plant directly. They must be composted first.

Yes your plants will need organic nutrients.

If you didnt mix them in the soil to start with you will have to feed with tea's and top dressing.

The soil I am using is "Flower and Vegetable Planting Mix" by Sta-Green. I don't know if it is organic. But i want to keep it organic from here on out. I have not added anything whatsoever besides regular tap water (after being sat out for 3 days).

What is teas and top dressing?

What is a good link to find organic stuff?

I think the soil you used has some organic compost mixed in it.

A "Tea" is a mix of Organic Fertilizer and water. Its best if they are left overnight in a bucket with and Air Pump adding Oxygen.

Top Dressing is what you call it when you put some Organic Fertilizer on top of the soil and mix up the first inch or so, try not to damage any roots but still work it in a bit.

Bat Guano would work great for both of those applications.

Get that long flourescent down to about 3 inches off the plants. All your lights (flourescents) must be at the most 4 inches from your plants. You don't enough light. Without nutrients, and the amount of light you're using, you'll be totally disappointed in your yield. You'll need more light when your plants get bigger too. You plants are way too stretched out because the lights are WAY TOO FAR AWAY.

...and you DO NOT need nutrients. You should, however, use some. Plants use photosynthesis as a means for feeding. Nutrients are like steroids. Fox Farm is organic. That's what I'm using. Check out my grow journal link at the bottom to see what the proximity of my lights were at the beginning of my grow. Go through as many grow journals as you can to learn from other peoples mistakes and successes.

Greenearth.... Your soil is very weak in NPK. You will need to add some NPK soon. If you want to just pour it out of the bottle & mix. I recommended Earth Juice, Metanaturals, Bontanicare Pure Blend Pro (online hydro shops), or BMO's Grow it Green (Ebay).
.
If you are a do it yourself guy - read this :

Making Tea - is EZ.... & Cheap !
.
& I agree, you need more light - without it - they are going to stretch, be thin and produce very little.

Hope this helps...
