i was thinking of using the kids
gerbil saw dust and gerbil turds
from when the cage gets cleaned
out as a fert. would it be ok
after it is rotted down ???

Make a compost pile out of it and then mix it in with your soil next year

Well if you compost it and mix it well with all your other home compostables it should be nice and danddy

I would keep an eye on your PH after it is mixed in and composted, depending on the type of sawdust it is.

Does saw dust thats been composted still have a high p.h. ?

The sawdust will also contain urine which is high in ammonia, not so good!
