Default My organics.
I've been trying to get off the chemical plant foods, So I bought some stuff for an organic grow

So far i have, Worm castings, Bat guano, perlite, and mushroom compost.

Anything else that's a must?Or just any suggestions on additives.

One thing i was wondering is once, i mix it up together how long should i let the mixture sit, before using it on plants?

What is the NPK of your bat guano.

Worm casting are ok for N

I dont know what the mushroom compost is good for but it sounds like your mix is relying on the guano.

You may wanna add Bloodmeal, Bonemeal and Kelpmeal.

Or think of getting 2 kinds of guano so you have a balanced NPK

The guano is 9-3-2.

That guano is high in N so it will be good for the Veg stage. But at flower time you will need to add some high P guano via a tea.

I would use blood meal for veg. and bone meal for flowering. But since the bad guano looks alright for veg. I would use some bone meal for flowering if you don't have anything that would suffice for the required P and K.

Barrgemike.... I would mix up soil as follows : 30 percent mushroom compost, 50 percent sphagum peat moss, 10 percent Perlite and 10 percent worm castings.
.
The Bat Guano you have has good numbers for veg growth. I would mix up a tea with it - very weak at first - like one tablespoon per gallon of water. Give each plant 8 ounces of this tea, after they are showing their third set of leaves. Prior to that, the NPK in the soil should take care of them.
.
Then slowly increase the mixing strength of your guano, as your plants grow larger. Take the left over crud from making your tea and divide it between four or more plants - evenly. Then the next time you feed, take the crud and throw it into your compost pile.
.
Just before flowering, I'd get some High P Bat Guano or High P Bone Meal, for the flowering phase. Then reduce the High N Bat Guano mixing strength and start feeding which ever High P Fert you aquire.
.
I usually give my girls, High P Bat Guano, at least two weeks prior to flowering - since it takes a little while for the guano to break down. When I mix up tea. And just like during veg growth - I divide the crud between four or more plants evenly one time - the next time I throw the crud in the compost pile.
.
So, for now - I'd just pick up a bag of sphagum peat moss and later a source of P for flowering.
.
Now, if you where planning on mixing up a Super Soil - like Subcool does, it needs to cure for a month (min). He gives a receipe and guidelines for use in his Sub-Forum at the top of the Organics Forum Index Page.
.
Hope this helps....

Thanks, your post pretty much answered everything.I was going to do a soil mix like Subcools. But this way seems like it might be less time consuming, I'll give this a try, again thanks man, and thanks everyone.
