Can someone please answer this if they know? I saw BioBizz All-Mix Soil under the -hydroponics- section of a grow shop website, but i bought it anyway with the intention of growing in soil. But going by the name of the product, yeah i think its soil AND hydro. I just want to make sure.

Also, for the first few weeks of veg, will this soil mix be ok to grow in or should there be no nutrients available to the plant?

Hey, read your post on biobizz - i'm using it and have been having some problems. I germinated my seeds in all-mix, and they haven't been looking very happy. Do you start yours off in low nute compost and transfer them after a few weeks? If so, how long do you leave them before you start giving them feed? Mine look like they have been (and are still) struggling with nutrient burn, and some of them haven't really grown at all since the third week! They are at about six weeks now, but are nowhere as vigorous as they should be. This is my first grow, so any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would guess it is the burn. I got the same thing in fox farm ocean forest. Letting them run their course fixed it for me in a few weeks.

I have a question a little off topic: The PH on the BioBizz Light Mix is "6.1 - 6.3" but I like to PH my water at 6.5 so how will that affect the intake of nutrients? As you can tell I dont understand PHing of soil as good as PHing of water. Can somebody kindly explain briefly.

what is the ph of your runoff? That is your soil ph. that is what matters. If it has dolomite lime in their I bet with those ph numbers you are in the right ball park. Here is a graph of ph.
