Here are a couple of pics of my 2 grows at approx the same stage of development. My first grow was just a straight up "Hope I get thru this" grow, the second grow I came to it a bit more prepared. I used mycorrhizae this time. There really is a bigger difference than the pics show. Keep in mind that grow 1 was in 4 gal square pots, grow 2 in round 5 gal pots. Compare the size, color and vitality between the 2.
Mycorrhizae are well worth the effort and expense. I'm already a believer at this stage. Now lets see how much of a difference in yields there will be.

See how much further the leaves overhang the 5 gallon pot than they do on the 4 gal? and there is probably a 6" difference in diameter between the two. Although there is no reference ruler, the 2nd grow plants are much taller (about 4 or 5 inches) than the first grow at the same stage.

Seriously, and more back on topic, mycorrhizae are amazing. I take my leftovers from my girls and give them to the rest of my garden. I'm getting soil out of rocky clay, with earthworms even! I'm getting new plants, natives I think, growing where I've never seen them before. Plus, it smells good.
