Ovechkin8.... You have options. If you're looking for out of the bottle stuff. Bontanicare Pure Blend Pro Series (Wormsway) or Blue Mountain Organics (Ebay). Earth Juice is good quality, but a little chucky. For DWC it would be fine, if you're running it through a pump or drip lines, stick with the first two.
.
Or..... Making Tea - is EZ.... & Cheap ! For the DIY (do it yourself) crowd.

but with BMO you'd go through it quickly with the ratio per gallons?

thinking you have a 10 gallon res... you'd need 20tsp a week... vs the normal soil feed? Am I wrong?

Im fat..... BMO's Grow it Green & Flower Power are made for soil primarily. Any soil fert is hot for hydro..... You have to cut back on the dosage heavy or you will fry your plants. That's where starting low (1/4 strength) and working up comes in. I always recommend - Low, Slow & Steady on Feeding. You have to check your TDS or EC, with hydro or you will quickly screw yourself.
.
The reason I recommend Botanicare Pure Blend Pro (Soil) & BMO (Soil ferts) is because they save you money in the long run. If you look at the average true hydro ferts - their numbers are quite a bit lower than products made for soil. Why pay more for less NPK. Why not just buy the heavier product NPK wise & use less of it.
.
At the end of the day, you either have your TDS / EC & pH right or not. You must have gear for hydro and if you don't use it - look out - failure.
.
That's why I prefer soil. A low battery on a TDS meter won't screw me. Soil is easy, a great buffer, more pH stable & more natural. But if you're going hydro, why not save some money ?
