I have a hanna grocheck combo. It measures ppm and ph. I use it to check my solutions before adding them to the soil, but would it be possible, in theory, to test the ph of the soil if it is wet enough using this fluid meter?

Drumsinttown..... Placing the probe end of your meter in soil, will damage it. It will not give you an accurate reading in soil. Hanna makes combo meters for accurately measuring soil EC, & pH but they are too expensive for me ($ 295 +). . The Frugal Guys Alternatives : Litmus paper ($ 7 - Wormsway Online), a cheap pH probe (Walmart - $ 8) or a cheap soil test kit ($ 12 - most garden centers). . Keep it Real...Organic.... .
