No its not worth the price! Find a source for promix bx, many regular garden centers carry it.

The soil isnt really worth that much if you pay that much at the store only online is where it cost that much that I know of

It's a great soil mix. Anything over $ 30 for 1.5 cubic feet including tax is Criminal....... Don't support crime.... Make your own, grown your own.... It's the American thing to do....

I only pay $13 for 1.5 cubic ft at my local shop. It is well worth what I pay for it, but I wouldn't pay $40 for it. At a lot of online places, you can get free shipping if you spend like $100. Try placing a larger order less often and you may be able to get it shipped for free.

That is really expensive what a shame very good soil which I use. I am fortunate that the company is just in the other town about 10 miles away so the prices for me is under 10 dollars a bag of the same size you are purchasing.

I've shopped around and the places that offer free shipping excludes heavy shit like soil

An alternative, if you can get it or find it, is Gardner & Bloome, I use their potting soil which is also an amendment.
