Default Guerilla grow organics
I am doing a guerilla grow in a rainy tropical jungle and was wondering if i should do organics. my first plant was to break up the native soil and sprinkle some dolomite lime then just use osmocote time release pellets 14-14-14(a chem fert). but i was thinking of doing organics after visiting a hydro store and seeing all the organic ferts. i dont know which ferts to buy that would be good for the muddy clay soil that i plant to grow in. i was thinking of using ff dry ferts since it rains alot but will the big bloom be better for flowering. or should i just use bat guanos. maybe some steamed bone meal.

The soil in a tropical jungle is full of nutes and you should not have to add anything! Sounds like you dont even need to worry about watering either?

Bagada..... Since you have access to a Hydro Store (locally or via internet) pick up a soil test kit (tests - pH, N, P, & K). It's not hard to use. A few little plastic vials, some color coded capsules & a bottle of reagent.
.
You will just need to dig down 6 to 8 inches - take a sample of soil - put a little in each vial - add the matching / color coated capsules contents and a drop of reagent. Agitate and then compare the color in the vial to the graded color chart built into the back of each vial. It will give you ball park figure of where you stand, as far as, pH / N-P-K wise. Then you can decide what amendments or fertilizers you will need. Which will probably be - very few.
.
It's never a good ideal to just start adding soil amendments or ferts, without first testing your soil. Know before you grow.....
.
Hope this helps...
Keep it Real...Organic.... & look out for big snakes, headhunters & jaguars.....

Do i have to use organic teas, or could i let the soil break down my ferts? i dont want to haul up teas to my grow.

letting nutes break down in soil=closer to nature=better bud
