Brown sugar is refined white sugar with molasses added.
I've used it on occasion but pure molasses is preferable.
anyone know the differance, is there a preferance?want to use molasses but only have brown sugar on hand and i don't want to wait until next time in town

my man says use organic pure cain sugar found at walmart use in 4th,5th and 6th week add to fertilizer mix 1tablespoon per gallon
i used brown sugar because i diddnt want to wait for molasses and it works great. i've been giving it to some and not to others to see the real difference and i'll never not give it again. the buds literally explode when used. i used 2 tbs / gal of water a few times throughout flowering w/ no problems.

i dont think it works that way as far as flavor. but try and let us know your results.
i did have an outdoor crop planted near a lot of speramint plants and the buds did have a mentholish smell/flavor
My man is a 35 year experienced grower he says to use pure organic sugar cain mixed with your fertilizer at a ratio of I tablespoon per gallon. You will see a 20%
increase in yield. We both are old school we grow in sunshine mix indoors.,
