Default BMO Feeding schedule help
hello all,

I just received the BMO Grow it Green, Flower Power, SPT and Foliar harmony. On the labels of all of these it states it can be used weekly. Below are a list of questions that I am concerned about and I think would help others out as weel. Hope to get informative responses.

1. Is the Grow it Green (5-2-5) product used for seedlings and vegetative state?

2.Is the Flower Power(1-8-7) the product used for flowering? i think it is

3. Do you use these at full strength as described on the package?

Thats all I can think of now.

Or is there another feeding schedule that works better?

Thanks.

Meluvyoulongtime.... What type of medium are you growing in - soil, semi-soilless or hydro ?
.
If soil, is it a bagged mix (store bought) or are you mixing your own from several bags - pertilite, peat moss, potting soil, worm castings....etc....
.
Does the soil you are using have a NPK rating ? and what is it ? Or is your medium - semi-soilless (no NPK) or Hydro (clay pebbles, stones, rockwool or sand - also no NPK) ? All these affect the anwsers I'll provide for you...
.
But basically - The Grow it Green is for veggie growth from the third week of Marys life on. The Flower Power is for, pre-flowering to finish. The Foliar mix is to give Mary little bumps of NPK directly, during veggie growth and the first two weeks of flowering.
.
The SPT is a root inoculant, meant to be used early on (seedling stage) all the way through flowering. I discontinue it's use the last two weeks, since the soil already has a good size population of micro-beasties (good bacteria & myco fungi) kicking a*s & taking names - aka - breaking down insoluble NPK & feeding them directly to Mary - plus killing off any bad micro-beasties who dare to step on their turf....

I am using FFOF with just some added perlite.

Not sure of the NPK for FFOF

Thank you for your response.I actually fed the ladies the 2nd week (this past tuesday) and as of today they are doing great!!!

1. how often should I feed them, every 2 weeks or every other watering?
2. is it ok to use BMO products at full strength?

btw, these white rhinos are blowing past my bubblegum which all were planted at the same time. Due to Hurrican Ike I had to move my ladies from under the 24 hr floru lights to outdoors. Today I will be putting back under florus (our power finally came on!), but is it ok to leave on the full 24 hours or should I do an 18/6 cycle?

Meluvyoulongtime.... (1) Water one week, feed the next - then repeat the cycle. Or water/feed weekly - but weakly (quarter or half strength ferts). It's a personal choice - I prefer the first one.
.
(2) With young plants, use BMO's growth fert at half strength or below - until the end of the first month of veggie growth. After that, start increasing the strength of your ferts slow & steady, upwards.
.
(3) You'd be better off to do 18/6, constant light will stress some strains - resulting in more males. The only plants that love non-stop light are autoflowering strains like Lowryder.
.
Hope this helps.....

Thank you soo much!

Heres the thing, when I feed them this past Tuesday I used the growth fert at full strength.....how long before I would notice nute burn? They seem to be growing at a very fast pace and quite healthy too.

Also, since I already used the BMO at full strength, should I continue to use at full or cut back to half?

Your the man!

Meluvyoulongtime.... You are welcome.
.
If the nutes you feed Mary did not cause burning within 3 days, they are not going to. Every strain of this amazing plant, has a slightly different tolerance for nutes. Some can take everything you throw at them, other are sensitive to anything above a weak fert.
.
If your plants seem healthy and are growing like gangbusters.... Wait a 7-10 days and feed them the same strength again. If after 3 more days, no nute burn, you've got heavy feeders - which will require weekly meals to hit their maximum potential. If the nute burn shows it's ugly head, either reduce your weekly dose strength (to half) or wait 12-14 days between feedings.
.
Hope this helps....

Meluvyoulongtime..... It's been a while since we last chatted. I just wanted to check in & see how your plants are doing. Are they happy girls.....???
.
Did the BMO mixes put a smile on your face.... ???? I started a BMO poll to see how people like or dislike them.... Vote if you get a chance......

They are doing great! I do have some small brownish yellow edges on some of the leaves. I think its either a calcium or potassium definceincy. I iwll try and get up some photos and maybe you could help me address the problem.
