Buenos Dias Bagelthief...I'm here and lurking.

The BMO grow will start sometime in mid-Dec...for two reasons...until then we are going have quite a few house guests and we just got a sweet hook-up from my buddy's brother deep in the mountains.

So, since we aren't lacking greens and have peole using our house like hotel for the next five weeks...I figured we would make this a deep winter project. Plus, from Dec. through March since we don't travel much then and the house space is cooler.

As I type, I'm looking into the grow space...SPT, Foliar, Flower, and Green are on the self ready to go! And, there is a tiny bottle of SuperThrive and NutriLife Heavyweight (organic carbo).

Don't worry...the report will be here! We are narrowing down what we want to grow...the current bean stock is Afghani, Skunkberry, Mango, and Juicy Fruit.

And, stop trying to steal my bagels.

whoops! typical stoner mistake on my part....now that i re-read your message i understand what you meant. you said "I'm glad you like the BMO stuff. They manage to pack allot of punch into those pint size bottles. I've gotten good results, consistently with their stuff; that's why I recommend it along with Earth Juice, Metanaturals & Botanicare."

i thought you meant "along with" literally!! lol.

ahh yes...the chicken poop is definitely very good stuff. i expected a stinky bag of nastiness, but the odor is very low and non-offending. i just recently put a table spoon in each plant (top dress) along with some much needed SPT. i had gone without the SPT for a good 3 weeks. during that time, my crop had been infected with a small but dangerous patch of powdery mildew!!!!! i didnt notice it until it had almost damn near killed two plants! all the others didnt seem affected, but i sprayed all the plants with a solution of milk and water just in case. that night i also gave them the first SPT in 3 weeks, and the next day all the plants seemed so much more green and healthy! im stoked...im going to ask BMO if they sell that magic in gallon jugs or something...i go through those bottles pretty damn fast and it doesnt seem like i'll be slowing my usage anytime soon!

anywho, like i was saying, the chicken shit is recommended. like you said, its the perfect amendment for flowering. it dissolves slow and steady, giving you that slight nitrogen boost that flowering plants still need (especially with the flower power, that stuff has almost no nitrogen at all)

hey OhSo, do you have a preference on which organic line of nutes you think is particularly effective out of those we mentioned earlier?

hey Greensurfer. glad to hear all is good. that kinda sucks about people using your house as a hotel...i understand you cant get the privacy that a cultivator of the weed needs to feel safe. lemme guess? is it inlaws? dammit they will kill a grow-op EVERYTIME...it never fails...

You are correct! It is an in-law...he is very cool & I like him alot, but I doubt he is 'garden' friendly. I'll be germing the day after he leaves...plus the room temps will be perferct then...natural 70 average during the day...64 at night!

So, I am left wondering....
I see there is high hopes of how well this stuff works and they have a deal going on a super pack (it includes (1) large bottle of Super Plant Tonic, (1) pound of all Organic Worm Castings, (1) pound of Granulated Chicken Manure (NPK 5-3-2.5) it's low odor and ORMI listed, plus (1) pound of High Phosphorus Bat Guano). Now if I got that, would it cover all my needs from seed to bloom? and would I use the worm castings at the same time the chicken poop while watering with the tonic on a bi-weekly setting during growth? Then bat and chicken poop with tonic during flower?

For those that have not heard - BMO is going to shut down their little factory from mid Dec 08 to Feb 09 - to upgrade and refit it. I got an customer service email the other day, I just opened it tonight. So, if you need some, now might be a good time to get some. You know how construction is - never on time.....

We appreciate all the info on BMO. I just recieved my bottle of SPT today can't wait to use it. I'm currently using Age Old organics bloom, ff Big Bloom, Bio genesis SYNERGY, and FF Ocean Forest/Light warrior mix. I also add molasses about once every 2 weeks. I'm currently watering 3 times a week or so, how should I add the BMO SPT to the mix.

The SPT is great stuff 420Med. Ohso got me to using it this way and it works real good. 1st time you use it. Mix it up one oz to one gal of water. Give each plant one quart, if they have a gallon of soil. The label says one quart per gallon of soil, up to 1 gallon of SPT mix (maximum), like if you had your plants in 5 gallon buckets of soil or planted in the ground. Do not mix in anything else or feed for 3 days. Then on the fourth day, water only. I notice you say you are feeding and watering every few days. That will keep your roots small, water twice a week (max), feed once a week (max). Also, don't feed for a week after the first application of SPT. The SPT will break down the stuff that's locked up in the soil and feed it to your girls pretty quick, so to avoid nute burn, don't feed like a said for awhile. Then when you start feeding start off at half strength for the next few feedings. That will keep your girls happy and avoid the BURN.

Thanks Catincombs i appreciate it. When you say water two times a week sould I mix the nutes/supplements one watering, and SPT & Water the second? Im using Age Old Bloom, FF Big Big Bloom and Biogenesis synergy.

Also do you let your water sit out to remove chlorine or use fish tank drops? Or what do you recommend to remove chlorine.

420Med.... That would be a good way to do it. I like to use my SPT on on watering only days. It can be mixed with ferts and other supplements, with no real difference in performance. I've just gotten slightly better results by using them seperate.

It is also a must, to get the chlorine out of your water. If the water system where you live, using old fashing chlorine - it will evaporate in 24 hours. Even less if you oxygenate it with a small cheap aquarium air pump / air stone.

If your water system uses the new chlorimide it does not evaportate - it must be chemically removed - with a fish tank type chlorine remover. Then let to sit for at least 12 hours.

The chlorine must go - or it kills the microbeasties (good bacteria & fungi) in the SPT.
