    Then you can't get a mail receipt. You just have to wait it out. The best way to send it is "Certified, return receipt". That way you have proof. This is the BS issue they have created by not having a way to drop off paperwork.

    I still don't think that's a huge deal. They probably cash it at the time it is processed. Hang in there. This is part of the BS we have to put up with now that you can't drop off the paperwork.

    i wouldnt worry. when i first moved here and applied the first time, it took 6 months to get my card. and when i renewed this year it only took a month. so im guessing they do all the renewel paperwork first, and it is a small office run by an MBA and i doubt they care much about getting peoples cards out quickly.

    unfortunatly tho you are not legal in the meantime without proof that DHS receeived your application, so dont get caught with over an ounce or any plants. when you renew next time make sure to send it certified.

    also my doctor typo'ed my last name on the physician statement too, but it is spelled properly on my card so i wouldnt worry about that at all.
