Congrats Nice Bull~~!!! My daughter wants to go after elk in a bad way. I told her to get a whitetail under her belt first.. Using Maxima Hunters? Maximas are the only arrow I'll shoot.

not much of a story, i got lucky. i was going to meet up with some friends later that afternoon when i decided to go for a morning hunt. i drove to my favorite spot where i have been seeing the bulls.. so i parked and hiked in about 3 miles.. walking down the dirt road i noticed some prettyfreash tracks so i decided to follow them. i started down the trail and after about an hour on the trail i spoted a couple of cows. i hunkerd down and watched for a few minutes.. from the tracks in the road i nknew there was a bull around.. after a few minutes went bu i threw out a cow call. the cow were enterested and so was he when he came out of the trees.. i never got an answer back from him but he did shorten up the yardage for me.. he came out and stood braud side for me so i threw up the range finder and bam he was at 47 yards. as i drew my bow back i thought to my self he seems further away, but i took a few steps toward him cutting off a few more yards then i let one fly. shit fuck right under him. he did not spook he took a few steps then i let another arrow fly, i shot for 40 yards and hit him just above the knees on the front legs.. again he did not spook he just turnd and started to walk away, i threw another cow call to stop him, he did 1/4 away from me i ranged him at 60 yards this time.. i tryed to sneak one in and hit him right in the ass, and again all he did was turn perfectlt braud side so i was able to put one right in the old pump house. he walked 60 yards and fell over dead... yep there was a lot of luck on my side that day.. as for the 1st two shots when i ranged i must of cought a limb to get a yardage of 47 yards.. he was 60 the whole time...LOL well thats what happens when us hunters get cought up in the moment...LOL hey but i got a BIG BULL DOWN BABY.......LOL

Hell yeah, at least you got that 3rd chance!
