my first question is, what do u mean by ur a "mostly" organic grower?
im also a organic soil grower, and personally, ill never ever go back to hydro, dont get me wrong, i know theres master hydro growers out there( I BY NO MEANS WAS ONE), but thru out my 13 years smokin, hydro herb CANT even be compared to organic soil herb.
anywayz on to the subject,
i use mostly general organics, and mix them into my AACT teas, kelp, mollasses, cal mag, catalyst, microblast(earth juice) and my secret ingredient(california humus, shhh dont tell no one!) and of course worm casting, soo far ive been havin great results, my only real problem is when i run scrog, its harder for me to keep track of my runoff PH. do u use soil ph testers? i know the cheap ones dont work, i invested in a blue lab combo and got a soil probe with it, soo far its ok, but not on point for sure, an examplewould be my true oakland og is readin 6.3 but my runoff was at 6.7, i wonder if there really is a legit accurate soil ph tester out there?
I use happy frog, and for the most part it tends to lower in ph(peatmoss), sometimes randomly, so i geuss my quesiton is, how do u keep track of your ph with your organic methods? do u add dolmite lime to ur soil mix? or do u raise ur ph or lower for every feeding/watering?
also have u tried or heard of vital earth?
im currently trying thIer OG mix and its good, im thinking of dumping out general organic and swithing to vital earth nutrient line.]
i talked to one of the owners and i love how they talk about being sustainable and organic! theyre all about fair wages and sustainablity which too me is a HUGE PLUS!
