taking a plunge in AN's line up.
main question is what shill i get. im looking at all of them and i know for sure i want the bud candy, but dont know if i should either get Connoisseur A&B or Sensi Bloom A&B Grow and Bloom PH perfect theres just to many. im askign here for your guys opinion on which ones to use and which i dont really need. thanks in advance. no puns intended.
-
lot depends on whether you are soil or hydro and if you plan on using any other additives or just AN. i would get sensi grow and sensi bloom. connoisseur is almost twice the price and may not be worth it if you are on a budget. let me know what you are growing in and i'll help with a schedule and additives.

Soil. No hydro yet and probably going with all AN. And thankyou ill give ya rep when im on computer
-
lol, thanks for the rep. it is appreciated.
are you going organic soil or soiless? which soil basically? some of them are loaded with nutes or may have plenty of beneficial fungi and bacteria already.
for veg i would only use sensi grow 2 part and vodoo juice. that is all you will need. if you are using r/o water then i would suggest using cal/mag. try AN's sensical grow and bloom. or botanicare's cal/mag pro.
for flower it just depends on how much you want to get involved in nutes. AN does have a huge lineup with some great additives but you don't need them all, not even half of them. here's what i would recommend for flower. i'll list them in order of importance.
sensi bloom a & b
vodoo juice, piranha, tarantula
bud candy
overdrive
sensizym
rhino skin
bud factor x
some of these items are really expensive but you can see on the chart below you will probably only use them for 3-4 waterings during the flower cycle so they do go a long way. i added the chart below cause someone gave it to me when i first started using them. their dosages are WAY off but the ratios are great to follow. i would say about half the recommended dosage on the chart will get you the target ppm. start out with about 40% and then just build up from there. you will also need to adjust your ppm targets depending on the strain you are running.

i guess organic soil? im using foxfarm light warriow till transplant then switching to either happy frog or ocean foreest. i know the of is considered hot. so probably happyfrog.
-
i don't use any of those nor have i ever. i've heard the same that they run hot though. i prefer soiless. that way i can control my plants nutrients. also a lot cheaper in my opinion.

Might try come coco coir then opinions? Or I think its sunahine mix4? but I heard sunahine is expensive
-
i use sunshine #4. not expensive at all. $35 for cu.ft. of it. that's about 75 gallons of pots. it is super compacted in the bag (http://www.greners.com/i/growing-med...ine-mix-4.html). i add a little (20%) worm castings to it for beneficial bacteria and fungi. in a month or so i'm gonna experiment with adding some coco to the mix as well. if anything, it is a little to airy. drys out kinda fast. i water 5 gallon pots in flower every 2 days now. wanna get it to 3 days if i can. that's just me experimenting though. it's a great medium. pH at 6.3-6.5 though. some guys say pH soiless like it is hydro or coco but with sunshine the sweet spot is 6.4 in my opinion.

Ya with the soilless I would have noidea what to add before ill looking itno it but with coc can I juat use all coco and just add nutes ahile watering or start in soil firat then move to coco

I got HUGE harvests from Advanced but my best flavor and potency came from Botanicare Pure Blend Pro.
