SOUL SYNTHETICS........anyone?

I just switched from H&G to Soul Synthetics in Ebb and Gro and was wondering if anyone else has any experience with this newer line of nutrients? So far the Infinity has caused my PH to raise and PPMs to increase with accompanying white foam on top of water. Once I added beneficials this seemed to have went away. Has anyone harvested yet, if so, how's the flavor/yield. Any specific information about specific products like Big Swell or Infinity or Grow-N (etc.) would be appreciated too. Thanks to anyone in advance who can share any useful information about this newer line of products.

I read 2 big med grows in cali. that were spending 7 grand a month on the whole AN line switched to soul synthetics.
They did side by sides & soul synthetics blew em away.
The owner said they the best he had ever used.
The article was in weed world i think.Im curious about em.Let us know how it goes.

I wouldn't say blown away. There's a grower named Sublbc that did a side by side in a controlled grow. AN won, but only by 9% of total yield. If you ask my opinion, Soul is one bad ass nutrient line. No bull shit, straight to the point nutrient line. My kind of gear. I'm using AN right now and hate it. Saltiest shit I've ever used. The same grower used a Soul only line on a Blue Dream grow. Results were off the chart. Heavy tric coverage. Pretty big yields for Blue Dream. Smell and flavor were crazy intense. Grow-N is really how they produce awesome growth in veg. Also helps out with N deficiency. Big Swell is just a normal bloom booster from what I know. Nothing special. Let me know how your results are with Soul. It's the next line I'm using for sure.

Yeah man, this shit is AMAZING! I started with Advanced, went to House for over a year and this stuff blows house out of the water. My ladies in veg never looked so good or grew so fast, your absolutely right about the grow-N, you can watch that shit grow! I will say this though, second rez and this time my PH is swinging way high again mid week w/foam. Last week it went away after adding beneficials, however, I don't know why it's happening this week. I'm assuming its an "organic bug" they are going to have to work out of it, because my rez temps haven't gotten above 68 and the beginning grower may lose their crop due to a pathogen developing in the root zone, as I believe this is what's happening. I've been running the HP2 with this grow too, it's from their roots line up and I'm going to start adding HPK as well, both have dosing instructions for hydro and it's some thick ass bat crap, overall it costs more than budswell though. As far as trich/oil/resin production, believe what you read, been growing the same cut for over a year and I'm smelling a deep dank smell that was never there before......oh yeah! Another thing worth mentioning is this stuff really packs on the nodes, it has more than doubled future bud sights on all plants in veg.

Hey Bros.I found it,HTs nov.2011 pg.36(DESERT BLOOM 10,000 SQFT GROW).Youre right didnt say blew em away, this is what he said.
"Weve noticed that other growers, who are growing in the same invironment as we are,are getting better yields better taste and better crystal formations in thier plants with their products(soul synthetics)"he says"Advanced Nutrients has changed their line a bit where you now have to mix your nutes more.I cant do that.I cant go back to zero-I cant put my operation at risk because they changed their formula. We're already spending $6000 a month on nutrients"
"More like $7500",corrects Cara.

Dudes name is Stacy Hochanadel.
He's the owner/diretor of Cannahelp Collective in Palm Springs, the leading medical-marijuana dispensary in the Choachella Valley region.Serves over 4000 patients in this region.

"We also use a good dose of beneficial bacteria like Tarantula,Piranha,Actinovate and Microbe-Lift.

I hope this helps man.

Soul as been so far so good. I've found it to be very easy to use with coco which is really what Soul Synthetics is geared toward. I didn't do their exact nutrient schedule but I bet it works pretty well from the looks of it. I did look at it though to get an idea of it and it is pretty easy stuff to work with. The only thing I noticed is it would tank my pH to 4.7 right after mixing in the morning after lights off and then be up to 5.3 before the lights came on, 5.5/5.6 the next morning and 5.8 the next and then drift upward, ending the week around 7. It was bizarre but I stopped fighting it and just let it do its thing and topped it off with straight RO. As a matter of fact, after the first few weeks I stopped even checking pH or EC and it's been my best grow I think ever. OK now I'm talking shit! I should note that I'm using some Xtreme Gardening beneficials and Hygrozyme but nothing else other than that. Week 6 is right now which is my big week for this strain and I just kicked the Peak back in (I actually also used Peak during weak 1 as a flower initiator and it worked a charm) at a rate of 5ml per gallon along with Big Swell at 10ml per gallon. Along with that I gave it the Soul's base nutrient at 15ml per gallon and Infinity at 15ml per gallon. And by chance this week they also needed 1ml per gallon of Amino Aide for a tiny greening to push them through to the end. Now, again, this was my biggest week so they were definitely worked up to that and took to it well.

Other than the fact that the plants are now at day 40 in flower and look fantastic, I also really really really like the fact that Soul Synthetics smell good. They add in some various things like green tea extract and grape seed extract that add an herbally smell to the earthy sweetness coming from the guanos and variety of sugars.

I've got high hopes for this crop.

Nice description, I love the "earthy sweetness" you speak of. In a previous post I called it a "deep dankness," however, earthy sweetness is more on point. I'm coming to the same conclusion you did as well about the ph raising and just not messing with it. I too have been topping off with r.o. water mid week (and a bit more bennies) and that seems to stabilize my ph and by the end of the week my water and rez look and smell so pretty I don't even want to change it. I'm going to try doing the Amino Aide to give them that extra green push until the end.....thus far I have been using the Grow-N to do this and not really wanting to because of being late in flower. If the Amino Aide greens them up I'd much rather prefer using that. I was thinking of adding some Floralicious to the mix as well, I've never used it but I was just reading about it and it seems like it might give some extra punch to the Soul by the end of the week. Because of these nutrients being mostly organic, I think they are great (supercharged) out of the gate, but lose potency rather fast and I'm becoming more familiar with foliar feeding as a way to supplement, however, now I'm thinking more Amino Aide. Speaking of foliar feeding, does anyone know FOR SURE what the ppm's should be when you foliar feed with whatever mix you may be using? I know this would vary depending on product, I'm just looking for a good base line (like 100ppm or whatever) or just some general rules of thumb when foliar feeding. Also, does anyone know if leaving a green cfl on in your tent all night would cause the plants to herm?

These aren't the best nutrients to use while trying to root clones (if vegging and cloning off of same rez), may stick with H&G during veg because clones root twice as fast (because H&G has a lower nitrogen level) or turn to running a cloner separate.

UPDATE: Salty, salty, salty, do not use anymore for veg and currently phasing out of flower. Taste and trichome production has been better than H&G, however, yield is minimal with airy buds. Maybe H&G fixed this with the introduction of Amino Aide (resins/oils, taste, trichs). Going Organic in dirt for a year just to try it out.

Picture 013.jpgPicture 012.jpg View attachment 2016750 Picture 014.jpg Used bloombastic with duch masters before switching to the basics from good earth, Blood meal gauno pot ash, epsom every three weeks. Through bloom nothing but homemade casting/ gauno tea with UN-SULFERED mollases. This is after trying the hydro world for about a year then going back to soil. Hydro I found will give you a better yeild but for me it didn't justify all the added expence I spend about $ 30.00 every two grows now. (a grow is 30 plants in my 14 by14 room) I'm getting about 3/4 to 1 ounce depending on the strain per plant every 5 weeks. The pic on the right and center just taken at 8.0 weeks. the one on the left last crop. who said you have to spend hundreds if not thousands a year on fancy pance nutes. Do your homework and get back to basic farming tech. With a little practice and study amazing results can be acheived on a low budget nute program. PEACE!

In which video did sublbc state that Advanced yielded 9% more than Soul synthetics? Not that I don't believe what you're saying, just that I'm a fan of his grows and don't recall!
