Hey everyone,
I know Pro mix products are fairly popular with growers and ive heard mixed reviews but ive decided to try some out. Now theres some people that say add lime to ammend some problems and others say it works fine straight out of the bag with tap water. This is my first grow....im just wondering if anyone has any advice as too how to get a succesful grow with pro mix hp...im looking for an organic nutrient plan. Any help mucho appreciated.

Ill be a bit more clear. Im not looking to add a ton of raw organic material to my pro mix like a "super soil" mix, i mean i would love to but just dont have enough organized this time around. What im looking for is something easy, maybe just like a 3 part system. Ive also heard some things going on with pro mix in early stages of flowering, Mag defiencies i think, the remedy being epson salt. Can anyone out there kick down a little pro mix hp knowledge?

First grow? K.I.S.S

ProMix+Dolomite Lime+Jack's Classic

Simple and cheap.

Best to do one learning curve at a time. Save the organics for when you can get from germination to harvest without fucking up too much.

No put down, but organics has its own learning curve and it's best learned when you actually know how to grow. Keep it simple for the first few grows.

Sounds like good advice...Whats the method for mixing the lime (at what ratio and when). I hear you on the learning curve thing and i understand that organics is a little bit of a different beast. Was just hoping theres was a simple way to grow without pumping them full of synthesised shizzz. Ill look into Jack's classic tho.
