why hello; im wondering if it would be okay for my seedlings after they have sprouted for the soil in my planters to have a LITTLE bit of miracle grow mixed into the soil. for nutrients? im not using hydroponics just basic light and water so i doubt all of that expensive nutrients would work? or am i wrong. If the miracle grow will injure my plants please tell me because i have already went ahead and done that without reassuring that it is OKAY for the plants. **I HAVE NOT PUT THE SEEDLINGS IN THE PLANTERS YET BY THE WAY SO I CAN CHANGE THE SOIL IF NEEDED* if it wont affect anything then id like to know that too; cause ill just leave the miracle grow in. THANKS :) heres a picture of my plantersSetup 1.jpg

Clears his throat slightly and begins to sing in a rather off tune "BUUUUUUURN BABY BURN! Nutrient burn now! Burn baby burn! Flush baby flush! Gallons and gallons! YEAAAAAAAAA!" sorry about that really high and pandora just brought on disco inferno I couldn't resist.

but seriously dude ya got a couple of issues with that... number 1 they haven't even come out to say hello! No need for more nutrient, before they are at least out of their diapers. 2. MG can be used for some damn good weed, but you need to be careful with it as it burns plants quickly and without warning.

You may be ok if you just added like a PINCH of MG but you may have accidently made a BIG booboo yogi bear... my thoughts? if ya added more than just a pinch of MG flush the soil slowly and thorougly each pot with 1 gallon of water do this for the next 3 waterings and go find some more bagseeds to plant. Sorry brother.

A mixture of MG will do fine for seedlings that are 2-3 weeks old....as long as you have perlite in your mix and have the patience to water properly...IOW...only water when the planter is very light....MG (and all other nute laced soils) only burn when watered too much.....

I use Humboldt Soil (nuteless) for everything....start biobizz nutes at 2-3 weeks.....I've used MG Organic soil with very good results......watering properly and timely is the key.
Most new growers don't have enough patients to WAIT till the plant NEEDS watering.....

have uesd MG potting soil, MG tomato for veggin and MG bloom booster for flowering. MG will grow some beautiful plants, but they will be lacking size and taste. You will need to add
some other suppliments along the way. sea weed and some microbes, this will definately help.
There is no such thing as a simple set up. When you turned on the lights, you just turned into Mother Nature you will need to provide EVERYTHING.
Now back to Q. leave MG in planter. I would put planter on a heat pad on low. give them plenty of water. just water. Spray with water often as there are no roots yet. Start using nutes when you transfer to bigger container. Clones showin root only after 5 days.001.jpg

I agree... with MG you always start off well, then after a while you got to adjust the ph, or add more nitrogen etc... it's all fine though... the one thing that is a must is that soil needs to be sterile (free from bug/insects etc...)

even if you dont have a great beginning you can still do things at other stages to maximize what you got...
