also, anyone have experience with the G.H hardwater line of nutes? i don't have RO so i'm looking into that

no concern about hermies what so ever. i'm at 15+ harvests and only one hermie, in fact i don't think there was ever a mention of hermies in this thread.

either way, you're right in one aspect, that reverse stuff is pretty much only for hermies, the dutch master site stipulates that the product won't change males to females. so that's that

do a little research, ive seen some talk of birth control pills having sumthing to do with female ratio and with growth pattern.......... smoking estrogen could have sumthing along the lines of what happens to little girls fed hormone enthused meats......wouldnt do it. ORGANICS ftw

it was just a simple misunderstanding about a product i once heard about

and again: people seem to notice things that aren't said, there was never a mention of seeds in this thread, nice try

I ran a strain for 3 grows that originated from fem'd seeds & each time I had Hermies - and I used the Reverse w/ penetrator as listed on the containers and each time it didn't work as advertised. IMHO the stuff is high priced snake oil. And it's intended purpose is to kill the male flowers, not to stop seed development (although that would be the end result).

this dude teaches how to grow for a living in colorado. now he has a free blog that he uses to reach out to the public so i would take advantage of it while it lasts
As best I can tell he has had a total of two whole posts on that website & neither appear to contain groundbreaking information.
And he's a tad illiterate & loose with the spelling.
I think I'll stick to published experts.

The chemical you are referring to is called Gibberillic Acid or GA. It is used as a seed soak to feminize seeds at low ppm's. It is also sprayed on foliage to bush up a plant but does not increase feminity at this stage. If you are only talking about increasing female ratios after pre-flowering I don' think you will find anything that will work. Mother nature will give you 50/50 so be patient.
