If they want to find you, they can and will, the point here is that they aren't singling out users on an international forum because we are from all places of the globe. There are thousands of users, and sites like ICMag and Grasscity contain far more "large operation" grows and even more people. Short of infecting your computer with a key-logging virus there is likely only 0.1% of the world who could effectively track down someone from there post, and these people want some serious cash for their services.

Seems like most everyone here has a few hundred watts going, nothing major, and not worth the hundreds of thousands of dollars it'd take to put together a technical team that could build a case on e-evidence. There are other, less expensive, methods to catching "bad guys" than trolling forums and running back traces by hacking the server and uncovering the email addresses of users, then using a bot in an email to these people to infect their system.
