Clay Pebbles.

Hey,

I have 9 clones in rockwool that need to be transplanted and I was wanting to know if I could use clay pebbles instead of rockwool, or should they only be used in ebb and flow type systems?

I've never used them before so I don't know how they hold water and stuff.

I've seen Hydrotron used in DWC hydro setups, not just ebb & flow. Some people even put it in their soil for better drainage. Only thing with transplanting into Hydrotron is that you need to be really careful so you don't damage the roots. That's true for transplanting in general, but Hydrotron isn't nearly as easy to work with as soil. Once they're in there you're fine, just be careful. What kind of hydro system are you using?

can i use clay pebels insted of using soil and what would i use if i could to feed the plant or can u only use clay pebels for hydro
