Online in at sites for seeds when it says flowering period 8-10 weeks does it mean time you let veg before flowering? Or total time it takes to grow?

marijuana takes on average about 3-4 months to grow from seed to harvest.

Read all the way through a few grow guides and youll have a good idea of how long you need to grow in different stages for.

Theres plenty of info on this site and theres many other forums and sites too.

It also depends on the setup you have how you can grow your plant.

So would you recommend a 18/6 light cycle for vegging or a 24 cycle?

I use an 18/6 cycle for the veg room. If you want the absolutely fastest growth, then use 24 hours of light. But the difference is small from 18, so why not save some $. Also, using those 6 hours of darkness during the hottest time in the room is usually a good thing.

I use 24 hours of light to root cuttings.

i used 24 hrs and they sprouted tall quickly but now that im in the flowering stage of 12/12 only 1 of my 11 plants showed sex its was a female, luckily.

the 8-10 weeks is just 8-10 weeks of flowering. You will still need to veg for 4-8 weeks or so depending on how tall you want your plant to get, I suggest going atleast 6 weeks if you can. Keep in mind the 8-10 weeks is just an estimate you should get yourself a magnifying glass and keep watch on the trichs to really know when your buds are ready. Usually when they are starting to turn from cloudy to amber.

No It Just Means The Flowering Time Most Types Take Atlest 2 To 3 Mounths To Full Flower.
