I know they have FAQ about crossbreeding an what not, but my question is. How are marijuana plants classified? As in, they have White Widow, and Mazar and what not.. how are the different 'types' of marijuana plants created? They say to take 2 types of marijuana plants to create a new type of strain, but how r 2 different types created in the first place to even begin creating a new breed? Maybe I worded all this wrong but I hope somebody catches my drift.. Im very interested in this...

My buddy has a older friend who spent years trying to create a breed of rose, mixed between red and black. Then he died and now my buddy once to try and create this type of rose himself.. I dont know if there is already a rose of this characteristic but as far as im knowledged and told this has not happened yet... kind of another reason that led me into creating this thread.

the main is if a strain is sativa, indica or a mix of both which the commons type i would say. if it is a mix it is the question if it is a sativa or indica heavy strain.

there also other deffincents out there like WW would be a white strain for example, that is for the iceing they produce in flower.
there also purple and blue strains, that are then the colors in which they have their buds and stems sometimes. some do that trick only after a themps drop

Weed was found and first smoked, the plant was then cherished for its ability to give you what some could say pleasure, or as we all know it.. a high.

The plant was then regrown and smoked by many people and over the many many years, and to this day we now have several different classification of marijuana.

How has it come from the basic plant that started it all, to this day where we have several different 'types' of the plant, and how are they seperated by indica and sativa..

oh hey don't forget about ruderalis and afganica, the later is actually different than indica although it is usually clumped in the same heading. Afganica is usually a hash plant grown completely for the purpose of making hash. Ruderalis is where we get auto-flowering strains from although a pure ruderalis is usually crappy bud, real ditch-weed, but there have been improvements over the past two years and now lowryder tastes better than ever!

I have a couple that are going outside in a few weeks. ATF might take a week or two longer to flower then what you want but it will kick you in the butt and even leave a shoe print too.
