Hi, I have 3 plants going under 1000w hps, im flowering them to determine sex. I was having so much trouble cloning that i said screw it might aswell sex these since they are like 4 feet now, but I ordered some stuff from neHydro.com, Hydroponics and Gardening Supplies (good site, im in canada and this is in the US, didnt have to deal with custom charges) i got the Rapid Rooter with new gel and superthrive and just cut 2 from each, 3 days ago and the clones look way better then my other 4-5 attempts so i think i cought a break there.

Now to my question. My hps is in a closet, about 5 feet up, thats the highest it can go, and plants being 4 feet, it was way to hot so i angled the light facing out and pulled the plants out of the closet so the light is still direct but its like 3-4 feet away so the temp is fine now, but i also have the clones going the other side of the living room under a dual fluorescent going 24/7 will the fluorescent have an impact on the mothers thats about 7 feet away when the hps is off? the lighting i would think couldnt be more than a quarter of the moons light. i could push the mothers back in the closet at night but I have no arms so I'd like to keep it as simple as possible.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
